Our director, TaMeeka was born and raised in Rochester, NY. She's obtained her  A.S. - psychology & childhood education, as well as her B.S. - Science Degree in Criminal Justice System. TaMeeka is the mother to one son, Harlym, who has aided in strengthening her passion for Breaking All Barriers. Our director has over 17+ years of experience working within the human service field in various capacities which include servicing, mentoring and educating families within the Rochester area. TaMeeka shares “As I grew older and began to reflect on my childhood, I noticed how different and fast youth in my community had to grow up. I watched as unfortunate circumstances pushed youth to mature at an early age without having the proper tools, education, mentors and even resources to survive in the real world..." TaMeeka is the second oldest of twelve children and has certainly had her share of responsibilities, but she was able to enjoy the small things that life offered to her while going through her adolescent years. The mission and vision of Breaking All Barriers represents everything that our director stands for and desires to bring back into the community.
